Pathfinder Enrollment Pin Pathfinders

Pathfinders is a multi-year program for twelve to fifteen year-olds. The theme of the Pathfinder program is For Fun and Opportunities. Pathfinders work on program areas called emblems:
Camping
Community
Home
Leadership
Outdoors
World

Each emblem has three levels and a wide variety of challenges:
Bronze
Silver
Gold

The Pathfinder program also includes a Be Prepared emblem with segments related to the other emblems.

Pathfinders are responsible for a large part of the planning for their units, and often plan and carry out special events, trips, camps, and environmental or service projects.

Pathfinders use the Guide Promise, Law and Motto

The Guide Promise

I promise to do my best,
To be true to myself, my God/faith* and Canada;
I will help others,
And accept the Guiding Law.

* Guides choose to say either God or faith when repeating their Promise, according to their personal beliefs.

The Guide Law

The Guiding Law challenges me to:
be honest and trustworthy
use my resources wisely
respect myself and others
recognize and use my talents and abilities
protect our common environment
live with courage and strength
share in the sisterhood of Guiding.

The Guide Motto

Be Prepared
